Kasvatamme pienimuotoisesti staffordshirenbullterrierejä Pornaisten Halkiassa. Staffipiireissä ja kasvattajana olen vielä alkumetreillä, ja tähän mennessä olen kasvattanut neljä pentuetta.
Tavoitteeni on kasvattaa mahdollisimman terveitä ja rodunomaisia staffeja – ennen kaikkea perheenjäseniä, ihmisen parhaita ystäviä ja aktiivisia harrastuskavereita. Valinnoissani painotan erityisesti terveyttä. Käyttämäni jalostuskoirat ovat kattavasti tutkittuja, ja suosin koiria, joilta on tutkittu enemmän kuin PEVISAn minimivaatimukset.
Luonne ja harrastusominaisuudet ovat minulle vähintään yhtä tärkeitä kuin terveys. Haluan jalostaa tasapainoisia koiria, joilla on sopivasti potkua harrastuksiin mutta jotka ovat arjessa mutkattomia ja aktiivisia osallistujia. Rakenteellisesti staffeissa haen mieluummin kevyttä kuin raskasta tyyppiä – ketterää, tasapainoista, kestävää ja sporttista. Tämän vuoksi kaikki kasvattini eivät välttämättä ole näyttelyiden kirkkaimpia tähtiä, mutta se ei ole tavoitteeni – tärkeintä on selkeä rotutyyppi ja toimiva rakenne.
Valitsen yhdistelmät huolella ja tutustun mahdollisimman laajasti sekä jalostuskoiriin että niiden taustoihin. Jokainen pentue on harkittu kokonaisuus – ja yhdistelmät sellaisia, joista voisin itsekin ottaa pennun.

We are a small-scale breeder of Staffordshire Bull Terriers in Halkia, Pornainen (Finland). I am still in the early stages of my journey as a breeder, having bred four litters so far.
My goal is to breed Staffordshire Bull Terriers that are as healthy and true to type as possible—first and foremost as family members, loyal companions, and active partners in various activities. Health is my top priority when making breeding decisions. The dogs I use for breeding undergo comprehensive health testing, and I prefer dogs that have been tested beyond the minimum requirements of the breed’s official health program (PEVISA).
Temperament and working ability are just as important to me as health. I aim to produce well-balanced dogs with enough drive for hobbies and sports while still being easygoing and active companions in everyday life. Structurally, I prefer a lighter build over a heavy one—agile, balanced, durable, and sporty. Because of this, not all of my dogs will necessarily be the stars of the show ring, but that is not my main goal. Instead, I focus on maintaining a clear breed type with a functional structure.
I carefully select each combination and take the time to get to know the breeding dogs and their backgrounds as thoroughly as possible. Every litter is a well-thought-out whole—and always a combination from which I could see myself keeping a puppy.
